Welcome to Tincher Pitching - Charlotte

Train with fundamentals that are unique to YOU.

  • Proper mechanics are EVERYTHING when it comes to being a successful pitcher. Once establishing a sound foundation, the spin, movement, and location are much easier to control.

  • Success isn’t just about performance, it’s about longevity. Reduce the risk of injury and keep your pitchers healthy throughout their entire career with proper mechanics.

  • Not only will we cover mechanics, spin, and movement. I am dedicated to your pitcher as a person first, creating confidence with a positive mindset and so much more regardless of the outcomes inside the circle.

My name is Taylor Waldrop, a full-time pitching instructor in the South Charlotte area with Division 1 playing experience, D3 and D1 coaching experience, and 11 years of instructing pitchers.

I had the privilege of being introduced to Tincher Pitching early, starting lessons with Denny around 8th grade. His commitment to prioritizing pitching adjustments that fit best for my body played a major role in the rest of my athletic career, and continues as I teach my own students. As a member of the Tincher Pitching organization, I am part of a collaborative network of over 100 instructors who are dedicated to continued research and growth.

I believe in a mechanics-first approach, prioritizing healthy movements to create consistency, power, and most importantly, longevity! Each part of the pitch is broken down into bite-size pieces to better understand how, and why each movement is important to the big picture.

Meet Taylor
